Merry christmas and happy birthday Lakers..

Well it's that time of the year again, when some goof NBA team feels the need to give the Lakers another gift.

Bobcats traded Morrison and Shannon Brown to LA for Radmanovic. SAY WHAT!?!? Exactly. Damn you BETcats!

Yeah, some of you may think it's an even trade, or that Radman was the best player in the deal, but I think Morrison will grow in confidence with the Laker's stars sucking in the defense and Brown is a decent back up. He's very athletic and also will get nice opportunities from the double teams.

Stupid Lakers. Well, what can you do. One-sided trades happen all of the time. Remember to check my piece below.

So...Radmanovic will play the 4 instead of May? I don't see how this helps either particularly well.
Pieces I suppose. Good for Brown and Morrison to have a chance at winning something I suppose.

"I think Morrison will grow in confidence" Listen sugar bear aka RV, i watched Morrison all this year. He showed signs of brilliance early in the season. Then he started missing shots. Now all he could do was miss shots until Larry threatened to bench him, then he didnt even TAKE shots. This guy lost 100% of his confidence since his rookie year, and every time he took a shot, it was a miss, and he froliced down court afterwards with a frown on his face and was staring at instead of playing defense.

As for Shannon, i will miss him, but will not miss his ability to lose games for us (see the Hawks game last night)

Overall:
WE RAPED THE LAKERS.

Didnt Shannon win you a game or two earlier in the year though bet? Although, that game vs. the hawks was pretty bad...

BET, then i shall call you sugar cat?? Fine, Morrison has no confidence to grow, but that doesn't mean he can't gain it with the Lakers, the last time i checked no one on the Bobcats needed to be double-teamed, so this will be a different situation.

Sugar Bear: Not true. Most of the shots Morrison was taking were WIDE OPEN because defenders strayed away from him to double team others, knowing he was not a threat. He rushes his shot. As of late, i never saw him get set and shot like he did in college, and i havent seen him score like he did in collge either.

Also this is only semi-related, but

Even trade-Lakers get under achieving Morrison, Cats get aging, average 4. Brown will only see playing time if Farmar or Ariza go down.

You want honesty Moose? VLADRAD was always overrated. He is a streaky shooter. Adam Morrison is a "scorer" with HORRIBLE shot selection and even worse FG%. I know he didn't get much of a chance with the BETCATS head coach, but he still fucking sucks in the NBA thus far. Shannon Brown was solid at Michigan State in college, he is a very very very athletic guard, but he doesn't have much of a shot- he's mostly a hustle guy with good finishing ability. Overall, neither will contribute for the Lakers. And VladRad will probably not do well in the BETcats. this seems more for financial reasons than for basketball ones.

Maybe i should have just said the Bobcats don't have Kobe? He can be a black hole sometimes, but i think he demands too much from his teamates for Morrison to continue sucking. Plusl I'm sure he's going to work him over in practice, that has to help his defense at least 1%. I just don't see Morrison not improving, maybe it will be a small amount, maybe more, but he won't be the same.
