And the winner is...

...Kob. 40 points 8 rebounds 8 assists. And let's be real. Kobe didn't look like he wanted to win. Kobe honestly had a look on his face that just plainly stated "I have come for blood." Dude was like Ivan Drago from Rocky IV when he killed Apollo (If he dies, he dies). I know there's a lot of Bron love on 'Bachi, but DP and I agree- this was epic.

Roundup of Reaction:

Stephen A Smith (during the 3rd): Game 1 is over. Look at Van Gundy's face when Kobe scored. He's demoralized already. Even JACK is giving Kobe a bow!!!
Do ya'll see the look in Kobe's eyes??? We all need to watch this.....this sense of urgency you just don't teach. This is why he's so great

Russ Bengtson (after the game): Kobe's a winner. You can tell because he won.

Kevin Durant: See you in game 2 Superman.

That's all you gotta say. Brandon Jennings was hype. I was hype. My boy Tony Williams, a Knicks Beat Writer was hype. There were some Kobe haters that were hype. I'm knowingly a biased Kobe guy, but let's be real. That was vicious. Even Eboy can't realistically shit talk this game.

100-75, game one blowout. Josh Powell was more offensively effective than Dwight Howard. Wow. Magic need a bounce back game.

Now people can justly accuse Kobe Bryant of rape.

ahaahahaahh wow Brad.

eboy i'm waiting...........................................................................................take your time to think of a way to diss kobe and how it won't happen in game 2...thing is, it will. it probably won't be a blowout but he will kill. I don't really care how they defend ORL because it looks like the magic couldn't defend me out there. man i'm acting like a stan but that's okay because the stat line doesn't lie. yo Justin, did dude even turnover the ball? wow. hahahahahahahahaha (Stewie griffin laugh)

and REAL talk, I've never seen anybody look so violent with rage on his face. Not even KG moose. Not even KG.

Eboy, Moose, and BET are all crying in a closet somewhere wondering how their lives went so terribly wrong.

did you just see the press conference? I have never seen a more business kobe ever. Dude asked about why he was so emphatic tonight. He just simply said "I just want it so bad. I want to win so badly. I just need to give it all on the court and win for my team" he said that so calmly and there was literally no emotion in his voice...it was scary. Kobe is going to win the title and finals MVP. I'm willing to hold it to that.

With the kind of will power he played with tonight he may single handedly cure cancer, save Darfur, and bring the country out of recession while he's at it. Bow to the Snake King, bitches.

wow is this what it feels like to jockride bron? I think it is. I feel high on the ride.

I can stay almost neutral and still joke the infamous Kob-Bean-Mamba by asking: So the underbite/Bugs Bunny look is Kobe's mean mugging-its over face?! Scary like the Kobe Snake image on Flightclub.com main page. And Stan Van Grumpy or someone got it right in saying Kobe does not have to guard any particular Magic player to work him on the other end so Kobe may be able to do this enough for 4 wins.

*Jeff Van Grumpy - announcing, not Stan Van looking for answers.

Kobe deserves a tip of the cap for last night's game. Congrats, Lakers fans. Maybe he'll win one without Shaq. But don't get ahead of yourselves.

And if you think about it, we're not a LeBron or Kobe site; DP and Justin are Kobe, I'm Bron and the rest seem neutral.

This is the best you clowns can come up with? Jesus..... Kobe played great.....no doubt. His team is still underwhelming. They beat a Magic team last night that probably shot in the same vein as a typical game that would involve DP, Brad and Justin, so I'll be more convinced if the Lakers repeat the same activity in Game 2 and see firsthand if the Magic are truly outmatched if they just fell vitim to first game Finals nerves. As far as "the most intense looking player ever to the grace the face of the planet in a pair of horrible Nikes".....if he would have had that same fire and ferociousness last season, we still wouldn't be talking about his missing 4th ring. Ta ta boys. Life blows when you're not consistent. You're welcome DP....play wit' me!

DP said...

Yes! he speaks! and don't you already have a bet with james the baller going on that you might want to play wit?

Eboy said...

He never took the bet. You know....he's a Lakers fan.

Justin Walsh said...

hahahha MOOSE you goober. you tell me not to get ahead of myself with the lakers but when bron hit a game winner in the ECF you were ready to call it a season hahah

BET said...

you realize that the Magic did play well, they just missed all their open shots. That will not happen again, you only get game 1 jitters in game 1.

But this is panning out just the way i said it would. Kobe is having a unreal series. IF this keeps up, Lakers in 4-6.
